Free tools for parents, educators, and librarians.
Read-aloud audio, printable downloads, classroom visits, and the library and educator pricing programs. Everything you need to bring Kit's Big Ideas into your home, classroom, or branch.
Read-aloud audio
Every book in Series 1 has a free read-along audio version. Warm, slow, and patient. Press play and your toddler hears the story while they hold the book. By the third or fourth listen they are pointing at words and "reading" along.
All 20 stories are ready to play on this page. Tap the big orange Play button on any book and it starts right there. On iPhone, you can lock the screen and the story keeps going with the cover art on your lock screen. Prefer to listen on the couch or in the car? Download the MP3 for offline listening.
Read to your inventor. We'll share it with the world.
Some of the sweetest moments of childhood happen in a lap with a book. If you and your inventor read a Kit's Little Sparks story together, we'd love to see it. Send us a short video, or a photo of the two of you reading, and with your permission we'll feature you on the Little Sparks Books YouTube channel and social feeds so other families can read along with yours.
Attach the file, or send a link to Dropbox, Google Drive, or an unlisted YouTube upload. Whatever's easiest.
Free downloads
The Inventor's Promise poster is the heart of the brand. Print it on letter paper or take it to a print shop for an 11x17. Read it out loud with your child every morning, every Friday, or before any cardboard project starts. It takes 20 seconds. After three months, watch what happens.
More downloads coming soon. The Inventor's Workbook (Series 1 activity pages) launches alongside Series 2.
Free activity sheets
Every Series 1 book comes with a free printable activity sheet. Print it before the read-aloud, then let your inventor color, doodle, or build with the prompts.

Author visits
Chris is available for in-person and virtual author visits. Each visit includes a 30-minute read-aloud from Series 1 plus a hands-on STEM activity designed for preschool through kindergarten. Most schools pair the visit with a classroom book set or a take-home book for each student.
For larger campuses or library systems, we can pair an author visit with educator pricing on bulk book orders. Email to discuss dates and logistics.
Library program
Libraries and library systems get the same educator tier pricing on bulk book orders, plus access to read-aloud audio for storytime use, free educator guides for circulation desks, and the option to schedule a Kit's Big Ideas storytime with the author.
20% off
Bulk orders of 20 to 99 books, mixed across the Series 1 catalog.
25% off
Bulk orders of 100 or more books for branch networks or library systems.
Same tier as our educator program. Contact our library team to set up a library account, request a quote, or ask about read-aloud licensing for storytime. Include your branch name and the books you're considering.
