Refund Policy

Every Little Sparks book is printed just for you. When you place an order, a brand new copy is made, packed, and shipped to your door. Because each book is made to order, we handle problems a little differently than a big warehouse store, and we think you'll like our way better.

If your book arrives damaged, misprinted, or defective. We will send you a free replacement, no return required. Email us at inventor@littlesparksbooks.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the problem, and a new copy will be on its way. You keep the damaged book. Read it, donate it, or let a young inventor take it apart to see how books are made.

If we sent the wrong book. That one is on us. Email us and we will ship the right book right away, free, and you are welcome to keep or pass along the one that arrived by mistake.

If your book never arrives. If the carrier's expected delivery window has passed and your book still has not shown up, email us and we will send a replacement. Please double check your shipping address at checkout, since we cannot replace orders shipped to an address entered incorrectly.

If you changed your mind. Because every copy is printed on demand, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for a change of mind, and all sales are final. That said, we are a small family company and we want every Little Sparks book to land in a happy home. If something about your order is not right, email us anyway and we will do our best to make it right.

Signed and personalized books. Signed, personalized, and custom items are always final sale.

Refunds. When a replacement is not possible, or you would simply rather have your money back after a damaged or defective delivery, we will refund your original payment method in full. Refunds are issued within 5 business days of our email confirming them, and your bank may take a few additional days to post the credit.

How to reach us. Email inventor@littlesparksbooks.com with your order number. A real person reads every message, usually within one business day.
